My story in a nutshell:
Here is a short story of my life. I was born in a small village in the Eastern Himalayan region of Nepal; I passed my very early years there. My teen years were spent in Hong Kong, attending primary and high school.
In 2012, I came to the UK for further studies. I have always loved Visual Arts, so I took BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design, allowing me to gain a better understanding about Graphic Design. I really enjoyed making logos, book cover design and graphic illustrations. In University I continued to study Graphic Design, where I explored many design areas such as packaging, web design and branding, and I loved projects involving hands-on approach.
I completed my BA(Hons) in 2018 and I have been constantly working on self development and improvement. Reading books; listening to audio and watching inspirational videos has allowed me to understand myself and the world around me better. I am a constant work in progress, we all are, aren't we?
Currently I am taking freelance projects, including logo designs, packaging and vector illustration. I am also doing a small side project, Little Guras, designing and making Nepal inspired greeting cards, and taking personalized traditional (water colour & fine liner) and digital (vector) art commissions.
Retaining and improving my current skills is important to me, in my spare time I enjoy do self-initiated briefs and person projects, including illustrations and identity design.
I love creating beautiful logo, packaging and book designs that are usually inspired by stories, nature, and everyday life. I also love making surreal, organic illustrations that express my views and feelings.
